Not sure if anyone really likes anime around here..

I'm not really an anime person myself(let alone a fighting related anime), but Yu Yu Hakusho was my 'first' real anime back in 1999? Something like that. I just recently finished watching the series again, which I just couldn't get enough of. The characters are wonderful.

I bought all the DvDs as they were released, of course I got the 'uncut' versions because my mom wanted to watch it without edits. So yay, cartoon violence and blood.

Anyone on here familiar with the series?

If not, and you're looking for an intense fighting and character-based/thriving anime I certainly recommend this show. But don't watch it without a parent's permission if you're younger... It can touch on a few fairly sensitive things. The blood, involvement of 'demons' and things like that really made my dad flip out when he first noticed I was watching it =3=
